Christmas in July; The Gift of Relationships
Rebecca Blackwell
We had an amazing June and celebrated all sorts of great dads through events and activities to promote strong fathers in our community! Now it is July and we are heading into the second half of the year. How are you taking care of those important relationships in your life? Have you ever heard of Christmas in July? It’s a fun time of year to think about cooler weather, gift giving, and the ‘warm fuzzies’ we get when we start thinking about the people we love! Remember that people in healthy relationships and marriages express a sense of feeling valued, appreciated, loved and cared for. That doesn’t mean that problems don’t arise from time to time; it does mean that they know how to handle issues when they come up and find solutions that work for both partners in the relationship.
So, How are you prioritizing your spouse? What practical ways are you making them feel valued and appreciated? When will you schedule playful dates or activities in the coming months? Who makes you want to be purpose driven and make your marriage last a lifetime? Where can you get great ideas to make all of this a reality? Check out the relationships section of our website and contact Rebecca, our Relationships Program Director & Coach directly for more information, Christmas in July suggestions, and more great ideas to help make your relationships stronger together.
