Governor Youngkin Proclaims VA Fatherhood Week

First Lady Suzanne Youngkin invited Dads from across the Commonwealth to the Executive Mansion to celebrate Father’s Day.  Over 150 dads from across the state enjoyed fellowship and great food celebrating fatherhood.  At the breakfast, Governor Youngkin made a proclamation that June 8-15 was Virginia Fatherhood Week in Virginia.  Speakers including FFVA CEO Chris Beach and 24:7 Dad Facilitator Billy Shepperson shared success stories of dads across the state and right here in the capital city.  The event was capped off by surprising one new dad with a year’s supply of EveryLife Diapers.  A special thanks to the First Family of Virginia for recognizing the role of fathers in the Commonwealth.
